Ideas from Google Teachers Webinar - Flubaroo

I watched a Google Apps Webinar for Educators  today on using Google Docs in English. Here are some main points.

  1. You can compose and format papers using MLA format in Google Docs
  2. The ability to peer share in Google Docs can enhance the quality of the writing
  3. Setting up shared collections and using good naming conventions helps in the organization
  4. You could use Google Forms for journalling and accessing
  5. Easily make a grading rubric for scoring writing - See below an example.
  6. There is a tool in the Script Gallery of the Spreadsheet form called Flubaroo that can help you to automatically score info submitted via a google form (grade quizzes)
